Did you know that you may avail a refund on GS1 barcode fees?

The Government of India provides financial assistance to Micro and Small Enterprises (MSE’s) to the extent of 75% reimbursement of:

(i)     One time Registration Fees and

(ii)    Annual Recurring Fees (For first four years) paid by them to GS1 India for use of barcodes.

The MSE’s which are either registered or have filed Entrepreneur’s Memorandum (EM) Part II with directorate of Industries/ District Industries centers and also registered with GS1 India for use of barcodes, are eligible for availing the financial assistance.

GS1 barcode standards provide a way to seamlessly share product information throughout your supply chain. It is becoming essential for manufacturers. Interoperability between trading partners, manufacturers, retailers, and consumers results in reduction of costs to businesses and consumers.

GINESYS powers POS with SAP at Tara Jewels

Tara Jewels is amongst the first companies in this domain to implement SAP in 2000 to support their vision and cater to a majority of their business functions. The SAP implementation is hosted in Mumbai. The information which was being received at the POS was not sufficient resulting in frequent need for manual intervention. Outbound information synchronization sent back to SAP was failing regularly too. This caused repeated tries to achieve the consistency and overuse of bandwidth and system resources. This loop led to lost opportunities at POS and lack of visibility at the management end.

Finally the management decided to opt for GINESYS POS to support their point-of-sale operations in 2010 and thus GINESYS needed to be integrated with the SAP implementation. Solving this problem head-on was not only a necessity but the challenge was doing so at a low cost, with few risks and quickly.

Team GINESYS @ Annual General Meeting

GINESYS held its Annual General Meeting along with Annual Sales Meet in November 2010 at Vedic Village Kolkata. It was a nice experience for all the team members who participated  into annual event of Ginni Systems Limited. Mr. Prashant Lohia, CEO Ginni Systems Limited led the event which comprised of various sub events.

It was first time that all the thinktanks of GINESYS from every corner of India met and joined their hands together under one roof . It gave some extra energy to attain common goal. Natural Beauty of Vedic Village enhanced the charm of this annual event .

Whole Event was divided into 2 parts wherein 1st part was followed by conference on various topic such as sales, support, implementation strategies , launch of NPOS – The Game Changer, launch of GINESYS New Website And Collaterals  and in the 2nd part there was GINESYS sales awards given for best peformers in Sales by our  H’nble Guests Shri Gobind Lohia and Mr. Sanjay Jhunjhunwala, CMD, Turtle India Limited.

The meet  was followed by a day-night football match  between GINESYS implementation and GINESYS Sales team.

Everyone was delighted with the arrangements  and overall it was a great experience altogether and there we found many things to learn. Wishing GINESYS all the best to go forward.

On behalf of GINESYS team, we heartily congratulate Manyavar  for the opening of 100th store.  We are overjoyed and ecstatic with this achievement.

Manyavar today is not only a brand, it a phenomenon which has not only made all of us proud , but it has made India Proud.

We wish and urge  Manyavar to open 1000 stores and as we witnessed the 1st store, 100th store , we shall witness the 1000th store.

Production Revamp

We are introducing new GINESYS Production module that will have lot of new features and enhancements like Routing, LOT Control, WIP Management, Cost Sheet, Material Planning etc.  All this new features will run parallel to existing Production module.  All existing GINESYS Business customers are requested to contact GINESYS Helpdesk at helpdesk@retailsoftware.co.in for migration and other details.

Business Analytics – Create Data Cube
New parameters for Description and Number have been added in Item Information cube.  New additional features as ‘Description‘ (6 rows)  and ‘Numerical Details’ (3 rows) have been included under Item Master; so from onwards, they will reflect under Item Information cube under the columns discussed.

Business Analytics – Create Data Cube – Purchase Order Analysis

Discount Amt, Other Charges Amount and Net Amount columns has been added in the cube.
